Fighting for the Right to Die

Denying patients physician-assisted suicide is a civil rights issue. It shouldn’t be a crime for those who are too sick to live to decide how and when to end their suffering. Maia Calloway, a right-to-die activist with multiple sclerosis, details the hurdles that she must overcome in order to access a compassionate death.
